Kids Kinesiology

Kinesiology can safely and gently “talk to” your child’s system to determine and release blocks that are inhibiting their natural abundant energy, health and happiness.

Childhood can be a wonderful part of our lives. It is a time of immense growth and learning. Each new challenge your child overcomes helps build their character and self-esteem, but today’s children are under immense physical and emotional stress. Their fragile little minds and bodies are exposed to a vast number of toxic chemicals and waste products in the environment on a daily basis. Your children may find it difficult to communicate what they are feeling and thinking and my not even have the vocabulary to share with you what’s happening within their whole being, resulting in them constantly crying, screaming or isolating themselves away from the world because they are overwhelmed and unable to safely communicate what’s going on.

Unfortunately, in today’s age, children learn in an over-crowded, industrial-age schooling system that is not structured to accommodate each child’s unique abilities. Stress can prevent children from being able to fully express their true selves and develop and grow in an organic, unique and supported way. On top of this, children are often under societal pressure from an early age to conform to cultural and societal expectations, which has the potential to suppress their development as unique individuals.

Kinesiology provides a safe space for children to deal with the challenges they face, giving them different options and better tools so that they can engage better in this world. Kinesiology allows you to understand your child’s stressors and their reactions to certain events they face.

Every experience in a child’s life has some effect or another, starting from the time they are in their mother’s womb to this exact moment. Things that can affect children’s development, learning and growing include:

  • a stressful pregnancy
  • a traumatic birth
  • medications and operations
  • accidents
  • family trauma, relationship difficulties, blended families, sibling rivalry
  • allergic reactions, toxic overload, nutritional deficiencies
  • Inherited factors – generational, ancestral

When required, I will provide your child simple activities for home reinforcements to improve brain integration, co-ordination, help relieve emotional distress, activities that calm, and lots more.

How do I muscle test on children? If your child is very little we will use either you or someone else to surrogate (help to answer on behalf of) your child. Children are too young to be muscle tested successfully sometimes, but kinesiology has the wonderful technique of surrogate muscle testing which means that children and babies can still be treated using kinesiology.

Parents are required to remain in the session with their child for the duration, unless over 16 years old. During your child’s initial consultation, I will discuss their medical history, concerns and any changes you have noticed. Your child will participate in this discussion if they can.

It is suitable for children of all ages. It can even help you to communicate with your baby in the womb!

Kinesiology may assist your child with the following:
