What is N.O.T
The body is a totally integrated biological and energetic entity where everything affects everything else in one way or another and as the old song goes, the “head bone” is really connected to the “foot bone”. It is impossible to treat one part of the body without affecting or causing stress or change somewhere else in the body.
“Nothing happens in or to the body without total body awareness of the incident. This awareness is communicated through our highly intelligent Central Nervous System”
Neural Organization Therapy (N.O.T.) is a specialised branch of Kinesiology which works through the central nervous system to restore structural, bio-chemical and emotional balance. N.O.T. is extremely powerful and incredibly effective in re-patterning and re-organising the Central Nervous System. When the neurology is organised, messages going to and from the brain travel on their correct pathway to help reduce or eliminate many ailments such as; pain, illness, headaches, migraines, learning difficulties, dyslexia, ADD/ADHD, behavioural problems, adrenal stress, immunity problems, hormone imbalances, scoliosis and much more. This provides an environment for effective thinking and processing, allowing the body to work in a more productive and stress free manner.
N.O.T is a non-invasive treatment protocol which is holistically physical and energetic and deals the Central Nervous System (CNS) to restore structural, bio-chemical and emotional disorganisation back to homeostasis. Every condition known to man involves nervous system disorganisation. Therefore, it only makes sense to treat the conditions of the nervous system first before continuing on with your kinesiology session.
The body is organised functionally into 4 primal survival systems which are generally known as the fight/flight, feeding, reproduction and immune systems. All physiological, neurological, vegetative and cognitive activities must function within or through these survival systems in an organised and integrated manner via the central nervous system. Various kinds of stress including physical, emotional, chemical, or environmental trauma can, and many times do, interfere with the harmonious and organised function of these reflex systems and ultimately the central nervous system itself. Our health depends on how well these systems are maintained and their ability to receive, process and respond to sensory information in a constantly changing environment of both internal and external stressors. A disruption of the natural balance within these previously synchronised processes will cause a change in the electromagnetic (EM) field in various parts of the body. Therefore, the treatment is designed to recognise any of the disorganisations that may be found within the neural programmes of the CNS and reorganise them. That’s when ‘homeostasis’ is restored to the body by activating combinations of the known reflex systems, acupuncture meridians, muscle spindles, magnetic energy, cranial and spinal bone balances and nutrition which control these systems.
