PRICING

In April 2019 health funds phased out rebates for most natural health modalities including kinesiology. This was due to a government decision to no longer offer subsidies for natural health to health providers. The following day the Minister for Health announced a review of this decision. We are waiting to hear the outcome.

Session Plan

If you are new to Kinesiology an initial 90-minute Kinesiology consultation is required followed by a 1 hour or 90 minute session depending on you. The time period between each session will depend on how you feel. It is recommended that you to attend once a week or fortnightly depending on what what you are working on and how you feel after the session. Allowing time for the body/mind to process the new changes is important for restoring equilibrium. The total number of sessions differs from individual to individual depending on the severity of the issue which has been around for many years. Other clients come every 6 weeks for a ‘tune up’ when they are feeling out of balance and want to prevent any of life’s stresses creating any more problems!  You should expect to see results within days or usually within 3–5 sessions.

POLICIES

Arriving Late

If you are late to your session you are welcome to receive whatever time is left in your appointment. Due to a tightly booked schedule, we are generally unable to extend your session beyond your original appointment time. Regardless of the length of the service actually given, you will be responsible for payment of the full service you scheduled.

Cancellation / Re-schedule Policy

I understand that daily life can complicate attending your appointment, so I ask that when making an appointment you know that this time is a convenient time for yourself. Please carefully read, understand and agree to this policy.

  • In the event of a cancellation, please give 2 business days’ notice. This will allow other clients the opportunity to use these times.
  • In the event that you need to re-schedule / cancel an appointment, email or call the clinic and leave a message at least 2 business days prior to your appointed day.  In continual cases of re-scheduling / cancellations, we may request that the full consultation fee is prepaid confirming your allocated time slot. This amount will be non-refundable and cannot be changed to another time.

Please be respectful and considerate and advise the clinic as soon as you are aware that you will not be able to attend your appointment. Failure to inform results in the clinic unable to fill vacancies or offer available times to clients who are in urgent need.

Sick Policy

In an effort to maintain a healthy environment, we ask that if you are sick (which includes a cold, a fever, the flu, etc.) or have the onset of symptoms of an illness that you reschedule your appointment. If you arrive for your appointment with symptoms of an illness, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment. This is for your well-being as well as the health of therapists and clients.

Receiving Kinesiology treatment when you are sick is not preferable. While in the early and acute stages of a cold, the flu or other illness, a session can accelerate the onset of the infection and intensify its severity. If you have a session after the infection has peaked, you may experience a relapse of symptoms and feel sick again. Please wait until you have been well for at least a week before having a session. If you do need to cancel your appointment, please call as soon as possible and we will be happy to reschedule your appointment for a time when you are feeling better.

Thank you for your co-operation and understanding.
